A Tour of Stonehall Bethesda, New Condo Community on Woodmont Avenue

by | Oct 27, 2017

The developer of Stonehall Bethesda on Thursday celebrated the completion of the nine-story luxury condo complex on Woodmont Avenue.

The 46-unit structure that sits across from Harris Teeter has been under construction for about two years on a site formerly occupied by an aging low-rise office building, said Marc Dubick, president of Duball BW LLC.

Stonehall has two-bedroom condos priced at about $599,000 and condos that are going for $1.65 million on floors six through eight, according to the developer, Duball. The unit sizes range between 800 and 2,500 square feet, Dubick said.

Nearly 20 homes have been claimed already, said Laura Henne, a sales agent for the building.

The complex features amenities such as a fitness center, rooftop gathering spaces and a club room.

Dubick said his company was drawn to the site because of its proximity to the National Institutes of Health and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and its accessibility for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.

Duball invited the Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce to a Thursday ribbon-cutting ceremony for Stonehall.

The company also has built the Lionsgate condominiums on the corner of Woodmont Avenue and Old Georgetown Road and is working on the Cheval condominiums on Fairmont Avenue.
