The National Science Bowl started their opening rounds on Thursday, April 27th with fifty teams from across the nation competing. This year, the DMV will be represented by Rockville’s Robert Frost Middle School. To get to the National Bowl Rockville’s team beat out nine other teams at regionals.
Annually the National Science Bowl draws more than 14,000 middle and high schoolers and each team tests their knowledge of math and science with a chance to win $5,000 during the final round which will be on Monday, May 1st.
