Easter egg hunts have been a long standing tradition for families and there are many place throughout the DMV where you can participate in one this week.
In DC, Tudor Place Eggstravaganza allows participants to join an egg hunt or egg roll and the Mansion on O Street Museum will host an egg treasure hunt and candy event with proceeds supporting museum programs.
McLean Community Center Spring Festival includes a parent-child egg hunt as well as change of season arts and crafts. Hoppy Egg Hunting in Herndon will have arts and crafts and games in addition to their egg hunt. Leesburg Animal Park’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt has time slots for various age groups. Want to get wet while hunting? There’s an Underwater Egg Hunt at Terry L Smith Aquatics Center.
In Germantown, you can visit farm animals, go on the giant slide and hay rides after your egg hunt. Green Meadows Farm also has a petting zoo. Ellicott City’s Clarkland Farm Egg Hunt also has nursery rhyme inspired play structures and spaces for kids to play after they hunt.
