Martha’s Table and Giant Food partnership helped provide food, specifically fruits and vegetables, to residents of SE DC from the start of the pandemic to the present. To kick off 2023, Giant Food donated $50,000 to help give more to the community.
Everyone knows that due to inflation, the cost of food has increased significantly. Giant and Martha’s Table strive to allow residents to have access to healthy food options. This partnership hopes to teach kids about a healthy lifestyle and to set them up for success in the future. If people have access to healthy foods, they’re more apt to stay healthy.
