DC’s Rock Creek Park will be getting a new bridge and trail added which will cause midday road closures for the rest of 2021. Sections of Beach Dr NW between Shoreham Dr NW and Tilden St NW will be blocked mid-July through mid-December from 10am to 3pm.
Southbound on Beach Dr NW will be open to local traffic for access to National Zoo Dr NW, Piney Branch Parkway NW and Porter St NW. Traffic headed northbound on Beach Dr NW will be rerouted to Shoreham Dr NW and those traveling southbound will be rerouted to Tilden St NW.
