With their recent name change, also comes a new mascot. The Washington Commanders have announced a new hog mascot to represent them. “Major Tuddy” was introduced on Sunday, New Years Day.
The team decided on Tuddy for their mascot’s name to represent their team’s famous offensive lines they had in the 1980’s. You will find the Mascot wearing the team’s white jersey with a double zero on the back. Last year the Commanders held a contest that allowed fans to vote online for their favorite mascot and name.
