Wreaths Placed at Arlington National Cemetery

Each year Wreaths Across America helps families and volunteers lay wreaths at gravestones at Arlington National Cemetery and 2,500 other locations across the U.S. and about 600 others worldwide.  Altogether, 2.4 million wreaths shipped to the various locations across the world.

The event kicked off on Friday, December 17th with families who had lost an immediate member of their family from serving in a time of conflict.  These families laid wreaths at the Vietnam Memorial Wall, Korean War Veterans Memorial and the WWI and WWII Memorials.  On Saturday December 18th volunteers started the placement of 260,000 wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery.
